Good morning Stansbury Families,

This morning's sing along is for students ONLY. We will take pictures and share out on Dojo as well as our Stansbury PTA page. We enjoy getting our students together and singing Christmas songs with them. This is not a performance but a school wide activity for all our students to attend. Thank you for understanding. We hope you enjoy the pictures. :)

Reminder, winter break is Monday, December 22 through Tuesday, January 6. School resumes for students Wednesday, January 7.

Join us tonight for our Day of the Dead/Dia de Mu***os Family Event.

Stansbury Families, Our annual Halloween Parade will be on Friday, October 31st at 9:30 am. Please join us outside on our playground to view our Halloween parade. Please see the attached image of the parade route and additional information.

Also, beginning at 9:00 am we will allow parent parking in our bus zone area. This will be for parade parking only and all cars will need to be moved by 11:00 am.

Stansbury Families, join us tomorrow October 23rd at 3:20 pm for our Utah Food Bank Mobile Pantry.

THANK YOU for your continuing to follow our parking lot procedures. We appreciate you using the drop off lane, pulling all the way forward, and not leaving your car unattended in the drop off lane. Thank you for keeping the bus lane clear and using the crosswalks. Your help and support keeps our students safe. If you have parking lot concerns please reach out to Mrs. Trujillo. Let's be respectful and kind to our Stansbury staff helping keep our kids safe and traffic moving. We appreciate your support.

Stansbury Families,

Happy October! Thank you so very much for your continued support with our morning drop-off in our parking lot. We appreciate you parking in a stall and walking your child to their class. This has been a big help in keeping the cars moving and everyone safe.

Our Fall Recess is this week.
Wednesday, October 15 will be an early out day and students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm.
Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17 are Fall Recess days and there is no school those days. Enjoy your fall break!
There is also no school for students on Monday, October 20.

Students will return on Tuesday, October 21st.

Halloween at Stansbury-
We will celebrate Halloween this year on Friday, October 31st. (This is the only day students may wear costumes to school.) We will be holding an outdoor parade for those families wishing to attend. Please bring your own chairs if you’d like to sit along the student parade route at the back of our school. Please know that parents will not be allowed in the building before or after the parade.
Please send your student to school in their costume. Please send additional clothes if they would like to change after the parade.
Full face-masks for costumes will not be allowed. Face paint is allowed.
Weapons that go along with costumes will not be allowed.
Please make sure that your child’s costume is school appropriate. They will be asked to change if the costume is not appropriate.

Our next Community Council and PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21st at 8:45 am. Please join us in-person. We appreciate parent participation in helping our students achieve their goals.

Come join us for our Family Literacy Night. We still have an hour to go and we have plenty of pizza and literacy events. Come get dinner and an activity to do at home!! We’re here until 6:30 pm.
