Philadelphia Zoo d/Deaf Community Day (Philadelphia - Sept. 20, 2026)



d/Deaf Community Day! Hosted by Temple University and The Philadelphia Zoo!!

Sunday September 20th 10AM-3PM



d/Deaf Hard-of-Hearing and DeafBlind guests are welcome to experience the Zoo like never before!

ASL Interpreters will be available throughout the Zoo to support guests in all buildings, attractions, and animal interaction stations. Video interpretation will also be available for select tours on Philadelphia Zoo's page on the Bloomberg Connects App.

All services are included in general admission for all guests.

Join us for our ASL Bowling Fundraiser on Saturday, September 26 from 1–3 PM at Westbrook Lanes in Brooklawn, NJ!

$15 per person — includes 2 hours of bowling and bowling shoes.

Come have fun, socialize with the Deaf community, and support NJAD’s future activities and events!
