Huge congratulations to our dear friend Scott Barrow! He’s heading to Broadway to reprise his role as Karl Höcker in HERE THERE ARE BLUEBERRIES.

Scott is a longtime artistic associate of Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse. In addition to being an original cast member and deviser of this extraordinary work with Tectonic Theater Project, he directed our stage reading this past summer. We’re so happy for you Scott! Break a leg!

Next week: Poetry returns to the Playhouse.

Join us next Wednesday, September 30, 7 PM at Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse as we kick off a new season of Arnie’s Poetry Café.

Opening night features a special reading by three acclaimed Island poets: Adriana Stimola, Claudia Taylor, and Steve Ewing, the poets laureate of West Tisbury, Martha’s Vineyard, and Edgartown.

Following these featured readings, the evening will open up to the community with an open mic. Audience members interested in participating can sign up at the door.

Come listen, share your work, and celebrate the return of this beloved Playhouse tradition.

What an incredible summer at Circuit Arts! ☀️🎬🎶🎭

From film, live music, and theater to performances at the Amphitheater and Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse after the merger earlier this year, another unforgettable season of the Drive-In, and our Children’s Theater Camp, this summer was filled with creativity, connection, and community.
