🎉What a celebration! The VCEF awarded 176 mini grants totaling $108,562 to Vigo County School Corporation teachers throughout the corporation. These creative, hands-on learning opportunities impact children in PreK through high school, and supplement every curriculum content area. This is a record, both in the number of grants awarded and the dollars funded. A community that values public education is a thriving one! Congratulations to VCEF board member, Dr. Emilee Roberts on her new position as Executive Director of Career Services at Indiana State University! We are delighted that ISU students will benefit from her expertise and passion for meaningful educational and employment opportunities 💙

Indiana State University is pleased to announce the appointment of Emilee Roberts, Ph.D., as Executive Director of Career Services!

Roberts brings experience in leadership, higher education, employer engagement, and professional development, along with strong connections to the Terre Haute community. Most recently, she served as Director of Strategy and Impact at Chances and Services for Youth, where she worked closely with community partners, donors, volunteers, and corporate sponsors.

In her new role, Roberts will help strengthen career readiness opportunities for students and build connections with employer partners to support students in reaching their professional goals.
