Indiana State University Upward Bound Program 1998 THE UPWARD BOUND PROJECT is an educational assistance program funded by the United States Department of Education. This page reflects the year 1998.

The Indiana State University Upward Bound Project has served VIGO and other counties for over 30 YEARS. THE UPWARD BOUND PROJECT IS AN EDUCATIONAL ASSIASTANCE PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. ITS PURPOSE IS TO AID QUALIFYING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN DEVELOPING THE SKILLS AND MOTIVATION NEEDED FOR SUCCESSFUL POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE SUMMER DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR AS WELL AS AN INTENSE ENRICHMENT PHASE SIX WEEKS EACH SUMMER.

She graduated from South Vigo High School and received a full scholarship for four years to attend the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. We are so proud of LaSandra.
