I’ve been a member of the for a few years but haven’t fully explored all the benefits. Today I discovered I had access to a website called ….. it’s so cool, so much music to explore. It sure would have been nice to have access to all these resources when I was a student. And has a bunch of playlists too.

Last week I got to be the flute teacher again at the Suffield band camp. It’s such a great experience. The kids are so nice there and play well. I forgot to take pictures but I had a piccolo and an alto flute for them to try and boy was that fun! I also taught ukulele for the first time!🎶🎼🎵

It was opening night for Hamilton at the Bushnell yesterday. I’ve been volunteering this past year and will get to work a few shows. It was crowded last night but tickets are available for other shows. It runs through July 8th !

Tomorrow I signed up to play my flute with the Sousapalooza event in Hartford, which is part of the Make Music Day Celebration. We will be playing Sousa marches at 6:00 PM on the Riverfront. More information can be found at this link

My youngest student (whom I’m blocking) broke her arm the day after her flute lesson but kept coming. So we work on her mouth piece and the notes b and a. She recovered and we started to work on more notes. Last week she broke her hand but we decided she would still play and just do some head joint songs! Such a great attitude this kid has!
