☀️🎉 Pre-K Field Day Fun! 🎉☀️

Yesterday, our Pre-K students enjoyed a fantastic Field Day filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of summer fun! The children looked absolutely adorable in their matching shirts as they spent the day participating in a variety of exciting activities.

From creating giant bubbles with noodle wands and making colorful chalk masterpieces to playing with the parachute and taking turns at our “Dunk a Friend” station, there was no shortage of fun to be had! 🚗💦 One activity that was clearly a favorite was the car wash, where our little learners had an absolute blast splashing, spraying, and cooling off with their friends.

It was wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying a day of play, friendship, and outdoor fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day such a success for our youngest Coburn students!

🎉 Fourth graders are ending the school year on a high note! 🎉

From proudly sharing their writing portfolios to creating memory T-shirts and even discovering that they’ve become “Living Legends,” our students have had an incredible end to an amazing year.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished, the growth they have shown, and the memories they have made along the way. Wishing all of our fourth graders and their families a fun, relaxing, and well-deserved summer break! ☀️📚👕✨

🥞🎓 This morning, our 5th grade students enjoyed a special Pancake Breakfast as we celebrate their upcoming transition to middle school!

Before the excitement of graduation and stepping into a new chapter, students gathered together to enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit while spending time with friends and classmates. The morning was filled with laughter, conversation, and wonderful memories as they reflected on their years at Coburn Elementary.

A very special thank you goes out to the amazing staff members from throughout the building who volunteered their time this morning to cook and serve breakfast for our students. Your generosity and dedication helped make this event such a meaningful and memorable experience.

We are so proud of our 5th graders and all they have accomplished. Middle school is lucky to be getting such an incredible group of students! 💙💛

🎉🕵️‍♀️ This Week at Coburn: An Underground Staff Spirit Week! 🕶️🌺

While our students were hard at work finishing the school year strong, Coburn staff were secretly participating in an Underground Staff Spirit Week filled with laughter, creativity, and school spirit!

From rolling out of bed in comfy pajamas, to colorful wigs and creative drink containers, Disney-inspired outfits, secret agent disguises, and tacky tourist attire, our staff embraced each day’s theme and had a blast along the way. 🌈🏰🕶️✈️

As we head into the final days of the school year, it’s important to remember that school isn’t just about learning—it’s also about building community, creating memories, and having fun together. Our staff works incredibly hard every day, and this was a fun way to celebrate one another and keep spirits high as we approach summer vacation. ☀️❤️

😁✨As we wrap up the year we were able to squeeze in an incredible Coburn Fun Day full of hilarious moments and unforgettable memories! 🌹🦋The day started with students tattooing their teachers, followed by a game of inflatable musical chairs with Mayor Reichelt as our commentator. 🎶🪑Students cheered as staff members in inflatable costumes raced to grab a chair with the alligator ultimately claiming victory🐊🏆. The fun continued with students drenching their teachers 🪣💦. A huge thank you to Mayor Reichelt, the PBIS team, our PTO, and all staff participants for your good sportsmanship and making this event a huge success. It was a beautiful day for our Coburn community! ☀️💙🐾

👩‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓Today we celebrated our amazing Student Council members at Coburn Elementary! 🤩Throughout the year, these students have been outstanding leaders by demonstrating what it means to be safe, responsible, and kind every day. 💙 💛

They have helped make our school a better place by planning fun and engaging spirit weeks 🎉,reading to younger students 📕 , writing encouraging cards to spread positivity ✍️ , and assisting staff during school assemblies 👏. Their leadership, dedication, and willingness to serve others have made a lasting impact on our school community.

As they prepare to begin their next chapter in middle school🏫 , we want to thank them for all they have contributed to Coburn Elementary. 🐾 We are so proud of the leaders they have become and know they will continue to make a positive difference wherever they go.

Congratulations to our 5th Grade Student Council members! We wish you the very best of luck in middle school and can't wait to see all the wonderful things you accomplish in the future! 💫
