Racial Justice Collaborative We cultivate individual and organizational transformation as we guide participants toward equity and healing.

We are a dynamic Black-led, multi-racial, multi-generational justice organization working to transform the energies of inequality and anti-blackness to advance a just and equitable society that serves all of its people. ABOUT THE RACIAL JUSTICE COLLABORATIVE

We are a dynamic Black-led, multi-racial, multi-generational justice organization working to transform the energies of inequality and anti-blackness to advance a just and equitable society that serves all of its people. We are mediators, facilitators, communicators, educators, therapists, and visionaries.

The Racial Justice Collaborative was founded by Diane Wong in the Boston area of Massachusetts, and members hail from all over the US. Using an interdisciplinary approach, we examine all aspects of race education and conflict to hold space so that all voices engage in dialogue with one another. OUR MISSION

Our mission is to heal our racial divide. Our programs work to transform the ever-present energy of white supremacy that historically and still today permeates the culture, structures and policies of the United States. Our mission is to guide participants to “sit in the fire” of racial discomfort to process difficult, stuck, and inflamed emotions. We seek to eradicate anti-Black racist beliefs and the myth of white supremacy. We believe that conflict is a gift pointing toward meaningful change and healing and that every voice matters.

It's Giving Tuesday — and we're asking you to fund the frontlines of racial justice.
For the past 5 years, the Racial Justice Collaborative has been creating spaces where people can have honest, courageous conversations about race across difference. Multi-racial. Multi-generational. Always compassionate. Always truthful.
Your donation today directly funds our free online community events — including our Belonging event for Black History Month, our annual Juneteenth celebration, and community dialogues throughout 2026.

GIVING TUESDAY GIFT: Donate ANY amount today and receive FREE access to BOTH of our brand-new educational video courses:

Race Past to Present — A comprehensive journey through the historical forces that shape our present racial reality
Wealth from Slavery — An unflinching examination of how enslaved labor built American wealth and continues to impact economic inequality

You'll receive your course access link and promo code in your thank you email. These courses are our gift to you for standing with us on the frontlines.
Your gift keeps the fight alive — today, tomorrow, always.

Join us on Saturday! Thanks Process Work Institute!

Our stories carry both our history and our healing. In a time when truth is being silenced, storytelling becomes an act of courage — a way to remember who we are, where we came from, and what our ancestors endured so we might stand here today.

When we share our stories, we give others permission to share theirs.

And when we truly listen, we begin to see the world through another’s eyes — softening hearts, bridging divides, and planting seeds of compassion.

Join our friends and colleagues at the Racial Justice Collaborative this Saturday November 8th for a free, online community event centered on telling our stories and listening to each other.

You don’t need the perfect words — just your heart and your willingness to listen.

The Racial Justice Collaborative (RJC) creates space for honest dialogue about the difficult topics that too often divide us — race, equity, belonging, and the shared work of healing our communities.

As this year comes to a close, they invite you to join a virtual gathering of truth, courage, and connection: Our Stories Are Medicine

Our stories carry both our history and our healing.
These conversations aren’t about blame; they’re about belonging.

This gathering is a chance to begin — to tell and listen to stories that heal and help us raise a generation grounded in truth, empathy, and hope.

For Black people, storytelling has always been a path to survival — from spirituals sung in bo***ge to kitchen-table wisdom passed down through generations. Yet storytelling heals all of us. Our stories hold the laughter, pain, and strength that carried us — and remind us that we are still capable of love and change.

Do you get nervous and tense when racial conflict enters the space you're facilitating? Do you immediately try to de-escalate? Many well-trained facilitators struggle when race enters the room, not because they lack technique, but because they’ve never been taught to hold the historical weight or emotional intensity that racial conflict brings. Facilitating across race is one of the most challenging and necessary skills of our time. This two-session series called "Facilitating Race" offers an accessible introduction to anti-Blackness and to the role of emotional regulation in race-based facilitation.

Mark your calendar on September 20th for a discussion with RJC's Lane Arye and Yasmeen Rubidge about repairing harm across race in a helping relationship. This event is co-hosted by the Racial Justice Collaborative and Processwork Insitute. This discussion is based on their co-authored chapter in Dr. Kenneth V. Hardy's new book, On Becoming a Racially Sensitive Therapist: Race and Clinical Practice. Yasmeen and Lane are both part of the Processwork community. Here is a message from them:

“This is our story of a rupture that ended our coaching relationship that was built on a spark of mutual recognition, understanding, years of deep work, and trust. It is written by Yasmeen, a Black and Muslim woman who grew up in segregated Coloured townships in South Africa, and Lane, a white Jewish man who grew up in all-white neighborhoods in redlined America. We chronicle what happened when an invitation to write this chapter brought us face to face across an abyss.”

Register for the free event via Process Work Insititute's Mighty Network community or on Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/repairing-relationships-across-race-with-yasmeen-rubidge-and-lane-arye-tickets-1582729268849
