An update from Mr. Brinker regarding our school parking lot:

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Over the past week, I have been observing the traffic flow in the parking lot here at West Senior and realized that many new parents may not know the traffic patterns.
Several years ago there were some changes made to allow for the safety of our students and community after a study was conducted by civil engineers and traffic flow specialists

Below is the plan. I have attached a map for you to reference:

The opening closest to the tennis courts is the entrance. It is ONE WAY, ENTER ONLY.
The opening closest to the building is the exit. It is ONE WAY, EXIT ONLY.
The first lane to the left is THROUGH TRAFFIC ONLY - no drop off . There is not a crosswalk and there is a potential for an accident.
The second lane to the left is for BUSSES ONLY - their route to the bus loop.
The area along the baseball diamond to the tennis courts is for students DROP OFF/PICK UP ONLY.
The sidewalk along the Social Studies/English wing is a NO STANDING AT ANYTIME zone.
The loop closest to the school is a BUSSES ONLY zone from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM and 1:15 PM - 3:45 PM.

West Senior Student Council has opened their online store for Homecoming Class T-Shirts. You can order now through September 18th. Orders are placed online. Students will pick up their T-Shirts in Room 217 after school on Monday, September 30 or Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Class T-Shirt Day will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024, during Homecoming Week.
