Worth checking out, even if you are already familiar with the Polgar family. A bit too much focused on the games against Kasparov but some neat footage and insight. I would also reccomend reading Susan Polgar's book "Rebel Queen" if you want more upbringing early history stories.

Congrats to Carter, Juliette and Dan for representing our team today at the Halloween Chess Tournament at Grand Island High School and earning third place as a team!

We are meeting again 12pm next Saturday 11/1 at the McKinley road Wegmans, come join us for some games

We will not be meeting on 11/8

I will be sure to post any other upcoming events and we will plan on attending if there is enough interest

It's been a while since we attended some local tournaments. We will be attending the October Tournament 10/25 at Grand Island High School.

We will continue to meet each Saturday but will not meet 10/25 in order to attend.

If there is enough interest moving forward, we will continue to attend a tournament each month.

This Saturday 5/31 I will not be able to attend chess club. With that being said we have had plenty of members who show up with their own boards, feel free to still meet up and play some games!

Sunday 6/1 we will be setting up some boards at SPAR Self Defense feel free to come out and donate to a good cause. If you happen to train in BJJ join on the mats as well!
