✝️ We remember former SCLA teacher and pastor, Rev. Doug Lange, who passed away on October 16, 2026. Join us in prayer for his family and the many people who knew and loved him at churches and schools around the country.

His obituary shares, "Doug’s ministry spanned over 40 years, first as a parish pastor and then as a religion teacher, football, and baseball coach both at Arizona Lutheran Academy, Phoenix, Arizona (1987-1995) where he coached the football team to a state championship in 1992, and St. Croix Lutheran High School, West St. Paul, Minnesota, (1995-2005)...

His life was always dedicated to sharing the Gospel message of the forgiveness of sins through the life, death and resurrection of Christ, in which Doug now shares the ultimate reward promised to him in Revelation 2:10, “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s annual day of generosity on November 19, is now what we call SCLA Day! ✨️

Now through the end of November, generous supporters will match the first $30,000 to the SCLA Fund. These gifts allow us to address the area of greatest need for our students - including tuition assistance, ministry operations, and capital projects. Think of it like an offering to your church; many areas of the SCLA ministry benefit.

🎓️ Bonus Alumni Challenge: If 30 alumni make a gift before December 1 (any size gift, to any designation), an amazing supporter will give an additional $5,000 to SCLA!
Experience the joy of generous giving to quality Christian education.
