Let’s Rock this Summer!! Suggested for ages 7-14, these weeklong camps are hosted by Mark Sorvari at his home studio in St. Paul. Learn the inner workings of a band. Learn, write, and record songs while improving your skills on your instrument. Campers will take home a CD recording of their work at the end of the week!

An exciting inspired immersive art/movement/music class is coming to Hopkins!
“Playscape/Artscape” Wednesdays 5-5:40pm Sept 11-Oct 30 is an 8 week session that investigates the interaction between movement of the body, sound, and visual representations using large sheets of paper, oil pastels, and the human body. Suggested for ages 7-13 Register via link in bio

Ren has been learning Ukulele for over a year now and he’s very curious about other instruments. He is now taking weekly “Music Exploration” lessons where he explores different instruments each week. He’s been a big fan of his harmonica recently, so this week he worked with a harmonica holder so he could jam on the Uke and the harmonica at the same time! Sounding great Ren!!

Roy (13) has been learning Ukulele with PWM for several years, and is now transitioning into electric guitar. It’s fun to watch students transfer their knowledge from one instrument to another! Roy plans to start up a band with several of his classmates! Go Roy⚡️⚡️⚡️

Welcome Cormac to the Beginner Ukulele Club! Cormac learned the C chord, F chord, string numbers, how to play “slide Ukulele”, and also how to play “Rain Rain Go Away”, and it’s only been one lesson! He also learned several different strumming techniques (down, up, down down mute, and arpeggio). Come join Wednesday evening Ukulele Club at Hopkins.
