A 5-8 middle school with a focus on environmental science, technology, engineering, and math. Paul.
Through our school-wide use of STEM tools and concepts, we create inquisitive learners, problem solvers and environmental stewards. Students visit Dodge Nature Center to study the environment, then journal their findings, graph and analyze their data, and use computers to professionally present their reports.
• Hands-on activities, online resources, and individual student computers equip students
with 21st century skills
• Project Lead the Way curriculum challenges and engages the natural curiosity of students while teaching them to be creative and innovative.
• Block schedule extends the learning time in each subject. We are part of a close-knit community of schools in Independent School District 197 located just minutes south of both Minneapolis and St. Paul, serving all or parts of the communities of Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Lilydale, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake and West St. When interacting with the community through Facebook, the district seeks to maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
