One last walk through the halls for our departing 4th graders, as younger students, staff, and some families cheer them on. We will miss you, 4th grade GEMS!
Garlough Environmental Magnet School
Garlough offers a rigorous environmental studies curriculum emphasizing science. At GEMS, environmental learning is at the core of everything we do.
Through nature-based experiences, we support and enhance children's intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Students explore nature in Garlough Woods and at Dodge Nature Center as they gain a sense of wonder, respect, and care for the natural world. When interacting with the community through Facebook, the district seeks to maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
One last Garlough song for our 4th graders!
4th grade dance performance was a joyful addition to the recognition ceremony!

Happy last week of school! Itβs been such an incredible year, and we appreciate all the ways families have helped make it a great year of learning and connection at school. We are excited to celebrate with students this week.
Enjoy a few photos of fun at recess and students helping Ms. Barbara feed the fish in the lobby as they walked into school last week.

Saturday, June 6th is the West St. Paul Days Parade. Garlough will be doing a "walking float". Our theme is fish - dress like a fish, wear a rainbow fish or colorful t-shirt, make a jellyfish or octopus umbrella, or just wear your Garlough gear - and join us for the parade. Everyone is welcome! Details are on the attached flyer.

ππ Bravo, Garlough GEMS! ππ
Thank you for an amazing performance, Garlough GEMS! The Rainbow Fish was a beautiful story of kindness, acceptance, and community, and we loved the music, costumes, and characters that brought it to life. πβ¨
Our student performers did a fantastic job, and their hard work and enthusiasm shone through in every scene.
A special thank-you to our fearless leaders in music, art, and theater for the countless hours of planning, creativity, and encouragement that made this production possible. Your talents helped create a memorable experience for our students, families, and community. π
Congratulations to everyone involved on a wonderful show! Also, if anyone has photos to share, post them in the comments! ππΆ
