Authentic Montessori education in a joyful environment.

A child's ideas in action:
After preparing a bowl of cereal, a child decided it would be even better with strawberries! She put away her cereal work, then chose & completed the full work cycle of strawberry slicing.
What may look like a simple bowl of strawberry cheerios is actually initiative, creativity, patience and planning. The child followed her idea from beginning to end, waiting to enjoy her scrumptious snack until both works were complete!
At Clover Montessori School, children have opportunities every day to discover just how capable they are. Visit our website to schedule your tour today!

We believe childhood should be filled with wonder, beauty, and purpose.
From harvesting flowers in the garden to arranging them in their classroom, children experience the joy of caring for their environment and contributing to beauty in their community.
"The things he sees are not just remembered; they form a part of his soul." — Dr. Maria Montessori

At Clover's annual picnic, we had the joy of celebrating our Kindergarten students as they completed their final year in the Children's House! After years of building knowledge, confidence, and independence, these children stepped into roles as leaders and role models for their community. We've watched them grow into capable, compassionate, and curious learners and we wish them all the best as they spread their wings and soar!

Release the butterflies!

Throughout the month of May, the Toddler Community observed the transformation of caterpillars as they grew, formed chrysalides, and finally emerged as beautiful butterflies!

This week they joyfully released the butterflies and sent them off into the world! Hopefully they’ll return soon to visit the flowers and friends they left behind.

Stamped, sealed, and mailed with pride!
Writing letters, carefully addressing envelopes, adding stamps, and walking together to the mailbox to send them off into the world; moments like these are a beautiful example of Montessori learning in action! Purposeful, hands-on, and connected to real life.
Letter writing can strengthen literacy skills, deepen fine motor coordination, build independence, and they experience the joy of delayed gratification and communication!

At Clover, nurturing belonging, identity, and community is vital to our work. In each classroom, children share a family photo album together.

These albums offer more than just familiar faces, they provide comfort and connection, bridging home and school in a tangible way.

Children love sharing their families with one another. Pointing out siblings, parents, and pets fosters community, curiosity, and care.

This joyful moment between two toddlers captures all of this perfectly.

Montessori education is not simply a profession. It is a calling, informed by respect, observation, and a profound belief in each child’s potential.
This week, we honor the extraordinary educators who bring this vision to life each and every day. Thank you for the warmth and guidance you provide, for the environments you so thoughtfully prepare, and for the way you see and support every child.
Your work matters more than words can express.

Dr. Montessori described movement as intelligence made visible, & we are delighted to celebrate our Children’s House Lead Guide, Alex, for completing the Montessori Sports Fundamentals course through the Montessori Center of Minnesota.

He explored how Montessori principles extend into sports, affirming that mind and body develop together and that purposeful movement supports autonomy, confidence, teamwork, inclusion, and joyful physical development.

Four curious minds, one tiny discovery. 🐛
Moments like these nurture observation, connection, and a sense of wonder for the natural world.
“There must be provision for the child to have contact with nature; to understand and appreciate the order, the harmony and the beauty in nature.” Dr. Maria Montessori

The Constructive Triangle Boxes are beautiful sensorial materials that invite the child into the world of geometry through hands-on exploration.

With mathematically precise sets, children discover how shapes are formed by combining triangles, creating rhombuses, parallelograms, hexagons, larger triangles and trapezoids.

This work supports spatial awareness and nurtures a deep appreciation for order and design.
