This page is for young adults in the West Sacramento Area who are interested in learning a string instrument or who have previous experience playing one and have a desire to play in an ensemble. The Washington Unified School District does not currently have a string program, but the visual and performing arts staff at River City High School have a desire to start an orchestra. This group is open t

o all age and ability levels beginning with students in the 5th grade. We will meet once a week for rehearsal in the River City HS band room. A date and time for our first meeting will be announced shortly.
