Dear EPIC Families, We are so grateful for the wonderful opportunities our school provides for students to learn, explore, and make lasting memories!
Today, our 5th graders enjoyed an educational field trip to Nicholas Dairy Farm in Sacramento. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience and a chance to connect classroom learning with the real world!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible!

Happy Friday, EPIC Families!
School life is always interesting, exciting, and full of wonderful moments to celebrate!
📣Today, we celebrated our incredible students and teachers during our August Learner Profile Award Ceremony and had our exciting CAASPP Raffle!
🏆Congratulations to all of our students who passed the CAASPP! Your hard work and dedication paid off! Some of our students even received special prizes today!
We also had so much fun celebrating students who were “Caught Being Good” and shopping at our Monthly Owl Bucks Store!
We are SO proud to be a school that celebrates hard work, positive choices, kindness, and success! 👏

Today, we successfully completed a full-scale emergency evacuation drill! 🚨
These drills help our students and staff stay calm, follow procedures, and respond quickly during emergencies. We’re proud to share that the drill went smoothly and strengthened our school’s readiness and commitment to safety.
A big thank you to our students and staff for their focus, teamwork, and dedication to keeping our school community safe! 👏

Happy Friday, EPIC Families!
It was a wonderful day of learning and growth at school!
Our 8th graders are preparing for meaningful community projects and thinking about ways they can make a positive impact. 🌎
Our 5th graders are diving into their book club reading of Doll Bones, sharing ideas, making connections, and growing as thoughtful readers. 📚
And our 1st graders have been busy in math groups, practicing addition and recognizing patterns in doubles. Their enthusiasm and problem-solving skills are shining! 🔢
We are so proud of all our students and the joy, curiosity, and perseverance they bring to learning each day.

Good evening, EPIC Families, Today was a wonderful day of connection at EPIC School! We were thrilled to welcome our parents to "Coffee with Administration," hosted by our amazing principal, Dr. Kosch.
It was a great opportunity to connect with families, share important updates, answer questions, and work together toward continued success for our students.

Today at EPIC we have many teachers, paraeducators, and our new Reading Specialist learning more about the research-based literacy program SIPPS, which is part of our MTSS program. We're also excited about our new classroom which is being used by adults for the first time for this training!

Good evening, EPIC Families, What a wonderful evening it was seeing so many of our EPIC students and families come together for our 2026-2027 Back-to-School Night!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to meet teachers, explore classrooms, reconnect with our school community, and get ready for an incredible year ahead. We’re especially grateful for our amazing administrators, teachers, and staff who make our school community so special. And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to our EPIC families for your continued support, partnership, and enthusiasm!
