The SCC - West Sac Center will be closed Friday, June 19th in honor of Juneteenth. In-person and remote services will be available again starting Monday, June 22nd.

Juneteenth is a U.S. public holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. We join in recognizing and celebrating this day of freedom, resilience, and progress.🖤❤️💚

Holiday Closure Reminder : The West Sacramento Center will be closed both, in-person and remotely next Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Remote services will begin on Tuesday, May 26th. Have a safe and restful holiday weekend!

IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding Summer 2026 hours at the SCC West Sacramento Center!

As a reminder, the center will be physically closed for next week, offering remote services only. Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day 🇺🇸, therefore remote services will not be available until the following Tuesday, May 26th. Standard summer hours will resume June 1st, featuring in-person services available Monday-Thursday, Fridays will remain remote.

Exciting News! We are offering a new Punjabi course this fall!

If you’re looking to expand your horizons this fall with PNJABI 401 - Elementary Punjabi at the SCC West Sacramento Center. This beginner-friendly, evening course offers a supportive environment to learn how to speak, read, and write Punjabi while exploring its rich culture. 🌍

The STEAC 2026 Education Scholarship is open for applications! This is a one-time award for students enrolled at Sacramento City College, Woodland Community College, and American River College.

Are you eligible ?
✅ You are a Yolo County resident (18+)
✅ You are enrolled for Fall 2026
✅ You have a minimum of 12 units completed with at least a 2.0+ GPA
✅You meet income guidelines OR you are a Pell Grant recipient
