Even moms come to the CMS Singer Songwriter Series!! Stephanie King and her mom, soaked up the creative energy! and had a blast….. our young 10 year old talent on Tablas!!! and Red Carpet guests with industry leader Nathan Giguiere! Our volunteers this year… Stephanie King, Dvar Baggett, Kris Jones, and Barbara Morgan….. We are thankful for all of you !!!!

News Singer Songwriters !! Season 4 of this great series is going to be very creative and unique.. this year we are featuring Vince West in the lyric workshop doing a hands on using the award winning lyric book Writing Better Lyrics by Berklee School faculty Pat Pattison…. and the Music workshop stellar featuring an original song by Some Fear Nones Nathan Giguire. Nathan will present the song , and then music teams will rearrange a verse Chorus and create a bridge.. in DIFFERENT genres lead by music leaders Eric Chun, Mr Jay Blap Cotton, Vince West and other leaders TBA. The feature concert is performed by attendees and open to the first 10 to sign up the event day.. Lots of RED CARPEt pics and interviews.. and GREAT music product to hear and try out… WE ARE ALSO DOING COMPLIMENTARY SONGWRITER NIGHT APRIL 14 AT THE ACOUSTIC DEN in Roseville Rocklin from 630-830… Lyric and Music Element workshop with Kathie Rollins, Vince West , and Eric Chun, followed by open mic industry song evaluation for attendees!! CMS is co hosting with the Acoustic Den in Roseville Rocklin, a complimentary Industry songwritng night, CMS Singer Songwriter Workshop Series on Thursday April 14 from 630-830 PM. Workshop focus areas on lyrics, ,music elements, sound, and performance. An industry open mic with industry evaluation will follow the workshop open to workshop attendees and the first 10 writers from the workshop. Check out the Acoustic Den page for more information. A fascinating creative workshop featuring Nathan Giguire from Some Fear None, using one of his songs.. and creating different arrangement genres of a verse chorus and bridge, and arranging into different genres of blues, country, funk and rock changing tempo, keys, harmony , rhythm, and melodic adjustments to create a new arrangement of the song !!! Along with Industry professionals, Eric Chun, Mr Jay Blap, and others. Writers will work in team leaders in different styles!!! Very cool !!!
