Back in Kindergarten and so excited!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️I put together a classroom wishlist with a mix of recess toys, learning materials for small groups, and a few things I actually need (yes…the cute staplers made the list because I’ve somehow broken them all and I’m down to one 😂).

14th year teaching and I’m back in Kindergarten… basically right back where I started! 🩷🍭🫶🏼🥹

Moved from the TK room back into the Kindergarten room! Gosh, a classroom move is never easy… especially when you’re also moving a full on restaurant and grocery store. 😂😅

I had LOTS of helpers…my coworkers, friends and fam. Shout out to my dad (aka Major K) for always building and fixing all the things for me! ❤️

My teaching partner’s class mascot is Hello Kitty this year, so we combined Hello Kitty with my Lollipop theme… and it turned out oh so cute! 💕🍭🥰

And even though I totally messed up my pencil signs (if you saw my stories 😂), I remembered I still had the cutest handmade sign my very best friend JUBILEE ||Olivia|| made for me the last time I taught Kindergarten. So glad I got to use it again! 🩷

Here’s the thing about me…I will use and fix things until they really can’t be used anymore. 😂🧩

Here’s my little DIY puzzle fix! It’s not the prettiest, but it works…and the kids couldn’t care less. They’re just happy to have a complete puzzle!

One of my favorite end of the year activities is to have a puzzle party. I pull out every puzzle, and the kids basically do my inventory by finding what’s missing or needs fixing before the new school year. ✨

Such a special class this year…I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up Year 13. ✌🏼💋

100% family attendance…wow 🥹❤️❤️❤️

A few of my favorite projects this year! We revisited some favorite Black History Month projects, celebrated AAPI month with author Anna Wong, learned about sharing with The Rainbow Fish, practiced letter order and name recognition with our Hungry Caterpillar names, made butterfly symmetry art AND The Grouchy Ladybug might officially be my new favorite project 🐞🐛✨!!!!!

Also loved getting to reuse leftover collage materials from last year’s alphabet project thanks to funding!
