Hi everyone! We are OTD students in C3 researching employment and job retention for adults with autism. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting employment for adults with autism and how occupational therapists can best support their needs. If you know anyone who is 18 years or older and identifies as autistic with low support needs, please encourage them to complete our survey! All they have to do is scan the QR code on the flyer to access the survey. Their participation will be valuable as it will contribute to improving the employment experience of autistic adults. “CALLING ALL OTRs & COTAs!

We are currently looking for occupational therapists or occupational therapy assistants who work with clients with Limited English Proficiency to participate in our study. The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of occupational therapy practitioners who work with non-English speaking clients at private clinics.

As part of this study, participants will be interviewed for about 45 minutes via Zoom. Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary.

“Hi all! This is Irah Camil Huguley from MSOT C21, S3. I, along with members of my research group - Kelly Park, Priscilla Villalobos-Ayala, Danielle Wilson, and Caleb Paek - wanted to share our IRB-approved research flyer to hopefully garner greater participation in our study.

In hopes of informing our future OT practice on the topic of sexuality, we are conducting a study on how pelvic floor OT and PT practitioners address sexuality with LGBTQ+ clients. If you happen to know any pelvic floor OTs / PTs, please feel free to share our flyer with them and send them our way! Thankies!”

A huge thank you to everyone who made it out to our first event of the semester! We had a blast playing Trivia. Shoutout to Section 3’s trivia team who placed third place that night. We hope to see more members at our future events. 🤩
