Ending this year reflecting on what this year has brought to me and my family. I’ll admit 2025 has had its ups and downs. We adopted four amazing boys, these boys are going to be amazing young men. I am such a proud dad. I didn’t realize how much I needed them until God placed them into our lives. Crystal and I celebrated being together for 7 years and we are still going strong! I couldn’t do this crazy life without her. This “crazy life” continues to bless our home with the addition of our foster babies. Two of which we are grateful to have but supporting them to reunify with their family. The two newbies have been here a short time, but has become a part of our lives. We have already told the county we are in it to be their forever family.
Personally I had an eye surgery that has enhanced my vision and my quality of life so much. For almost a year I wasn’t able to drive, or even function with some daily tasks. Thank goodness in that time of my life I had Crystal and my family and friends to support me. Now I am driving and thriving in all things.
When it comes to my work life this year brought some heart break and some amazing opportunities. In May I was asked to not return to a school and a district that I thought I would work at forever. My identity was challenged and I had a major loss of my courage and strength. Who was I if I wasn’t Mr. Tim? I applied at so many different places, getting rejections or no response. Finally God showed me right where I needed to be. I got a job offer from an agency that I actually don’t even remember applying for. I took this offer and have loved the people, the kiddos, and the school. They were my blessing I didn’t know I needed. I didn’t realize I needed another change until I was asked to sub in another classroom, I went to this classroom and decided I didnt want to leave. So yes in the middle of the year I have decided to move schools. I do believe my Huntington kiddos needed me, but now I think my new kiddos are ready to meet Mr. Tim
I’m going into this new year with a house full of kids and love, moving into a new classroom, and enjoying every moment of this crazy chaotic life I wouldn’t change for anything!
Come on 2026 let’s get this year going!
