Parents, join us on August 23, 2025, for the annual Ring Run 5K around the beautiful grounds of West Point! Make sure to register before Monday, as the registration price will increase!

This week, community volunteers stepped into the shoes of cadet candidates during our full rehearsal, helping our leaders fine-tune every detail. Due to expected inclement weather on Wednesday and Thursday, some modifications have been made to the Graduation Week schedule.

🚤The Constitution Island Tours for Wednesday and Thursday are cancelled.

☂️ The Superintendent's Regimental Receptions will now be held in Crest Hall, which is located inside Eisenhower Hall.

Updates will continue to be provided via this page, the West Point Parents Newsletter and West Point Information Line (845-938-7000).

Howitzer Yearbook and Cadet Planner Orders!
Don’t miss out on ordering your Howitzer! While plebes (Class of 2028) and firsties (Class of 2025) will automatically receive a Howitzer, most orders come from yearling and cow parents. Some other parents may choose to order extra copies, but please note that plebe and firstie cadets will receive their books automatically, as mentioned on the flyer.

Additionally, the flyer includes details on pre-ordering our upcoming cadet planner for the upper three classes. The incoming Class of 2029 will automatically receive a planner.

What to expect:
✅ Increased activity of emergency response personnel and vehicles throughout West Point.
✅ Possible temporary traffic impacts in specific areas.
✅ Emergency response training scenarios that may appear real, but we assure you, it’s all part of the exercise!

Your safety is our priority, and this exercise helps us continue to improve emergency preparedness for the West Point community.

A: The exercise helps us test and improve emergency preparedness and response procedures to keep the West Point community safe.
Q: Will there be road closures?
A: Certain areas may experience temporary traffic impacts during the exercise. To ensure our installation partners can respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances, specific updates will not be provided in advance. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Q: Should I be alarmed if I see emergency vehicles and personnel?
A: No. This is a planned exercise, and any activity or sounds you see/hear are part of the training.
Q: Will this impact day-to-day operations?
A: There are no expected disruptions to services or operations during the event. Normal day-to-day activities will continue as usual.
