When resources are limited and conditions are uncertain, preparation matters. 🌲
During summer training, cadets prepare by doing. Purifying water. Building shelter. Creating fire. Signaling for rescue. Securing food. Every skill, every moment, strengthens their resilience, resourcefulness, and readiness to accomplish the mission.

In Washington Hall last week, cadet companies were recognized during the annual Streamer Presentation as U.S. Military Academy leadership awarded streamers for excellence to company guidons during Grad Week.
Presented as part of the Superintendent’s Award Review, each streamer represents more than individual achievement — it reflects the collective discipline, performance and commitment of an entire formation. From military proficiency to academics and physical excellence, the recognition honors companies that upheld the Academy standard together.
Every streamer tells the story of a team forged through shared challenge, accountability and purpose.
