Third grade students worked together in teams to build a solar oven, as they concluded a unit on heat energy.
Thank you to Johnny's Pizza for donating pizza boxes for this fun science project! Stay tuned for more pictures as teams test out their solar oven by baking smores!

Tomorrow is the last day to vote for the new library mascot! Please send any change you would like to donate with your student. Students drop the change in the water jug with the picture of their favorite book character on it. The winning book character will be featured in the media center until the next book fair! All proceeds will be used to help students who fall a little short on their taxes. The remaining funds will be used to purchase a book for students who are otherwise unable to attend the fair.
