Pointer Updates
Fall practices are not far away. Listed below are times for team tryouts/practices. Please contact your head coach for further information.
Golf tryouts will be held on 7/27, 7/28, and 7/30 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Meet on the putting green at West Point CC ready to go at 4.
Football will meet at the school and practice from 5:30 until 8:30 starting on 7/30.
Cheerleading will meet at the school and practice from 4:00 until 5:00 PM on 7/30.
Volleyball tryouts will be 8/3, 8/4, and 8/5 in the gymnasium from 4:30 until 6:15 PM for varsity, JV will be 6:15 until 8:00 PM.
Cross Country will be meet at the school on 8/10 starting at 3:30 PM.
Please make sure you have a valid VHSL physical on file with the school.

Pointer Update
As we approach a new school year, please note that for team schedules, go to https://www.arbiterlive.com/School/25342

The VHSL has changed platforms used by member schools beginning with the 2026-27 school year. The tidewaterdistrictva.org is no longer in use.

Please be patient as schools are trained on the new platform, the site for West Point like other schools is under construction currently. We will incur some issues as we learn how to navigate the site. As always, thank you for your support of Pointer Athletics!

All students interested in playing Coed JV or varsity boys soccer next year, please join Coach Tyler for voluntary workouts on Saturday, July 11 & 25, they will run 8:00 - 9:30 AM at the school's practice field. Athletes need to have a valid VHSL physical form on file with the school to participate.
