From our amazing librarian:

After completing inventory and running all my final reports, I still had over 160 books not make it back to the library at the end of the year. Sometimes a kid has no control over the books coming back… mid-year moves, books turned into other libraries or accidentally donated by parents, two-home families where books travel and one parent may not get the notices. Many factors contribute to missing books, but with so many this year, I would love all my kiddos to start fresh this fall with a clean slate as well as getting loved titles back to the library. Reminder: Join us this Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Loy Blake Park for a mid-summer meet-up!
Kids can play, families can reconnect, and everyone will have a chance to meet our new campus director, Mr. Pearson. Our admin team will also be there, including Mrs. Simpson and Mr. Jason Poland, who is joining our leadership team this year.
We have the large bowery reserved and will bring popsicles and snacks for everyone. We hope to see you there!
