Day 1 is officially underway at Richards!

Our Rockets stepped off the buses ready to take on the new school year and headed straight in to fuel up with a delicious breakfast with friends. There is nothing quite like the excitement of the first morning back in the building.

We are so ready for an awesome year of learning, fun, and Rocket pride!

Welcome back, Rockets! The wait is almost over. The first day of school is Monday, August 24, and we could not be more excited to launch into an incredible new year together!

Here are a few quick reminders as you prepare for the big day:
--Drop-Off Times: Doors open at 7:00 AM, and the tardy bell rings at 8:05 AM.
--Pre-K & Kindergarten: Parents are welcome to walk their students into the building on the first day.
--Bus Riders: Please double-check your driver and bus numbers before Monday morning.
--Regular Drop-Off Line: Starting Tuesday, August 25, all parents must stay in their vehicles for morning drop-off.

Get those back-to-school outfits ready, get a good night's sleep, and get ready for a fantastic year ahead! We will see you all on Monday morning!

A huge thank you to Jeannie Cox and West Plains Bank & Trust Company for treating the entire Richards staff to Sonic drinks before Open House!

Your continuous support of our school means so much to all of us. The delicious surprise was the perfect boost to power our team through a fantastic evening of welcoming our Rocket families back to school!

It was so wonderful seeing our Rocket family back together tonight!

Thank you to all the parents, students, and family members who came out to our Open House at both the Early Childhood Center and the Main Campus. From meeting teachers and visiting with bus drivers to catching up with old friends, the energy in our hallways was incredible.

We are so excited for everything this school year has in store. Enjoy the rest of your week, and we will see everyone bright and early for the first day of school on Monday, August 24!
