Our summer reading program is officially underway and runs through August. All you have to do is grab a punch card from participating libraries, read 10 books, and redeem it for a FREE Happy Meal at participating McDonald’s locations!

Summer Reading Challenge sheets for all age levels may be picked up at West Plains Public Library beginning today! The challenge will run from June 1 - July 31 and we will draw for some amazing grand prizes to hand out at the conclusion of the program.

ALL summer reading programs (story time, programs, participation in the reading challenge) is FREE. You are not required to be a library patron to participate.

June 2- Story Time (10 a.m. or 1 p.m.)
June 4 - Dickerson Park Zoo (WPCC, 10 a.m.)
June 5 - Moonshine in the Ozarks - 6 p.m.
June 9 - Story Time (10 a.m. or 1 p.m.)
June 10 - Booked & Bejeweled Craft Program (5-6 p.m.)
June 11 - Marty the Magician “Dino Magic” (WPCC, 10 a.m.)
June 13 - Story Time with Mrs. Patty Goss (10 a.m.)
June 16 - Story Time (10 a.m. or 1 p.m.)
Michelle Collins Anderson Author Visit (5:30 p.m.)
June 18 - Leonardo Music (WPCC, 10 a.m.)
June 19 - Library Closed (Juneteenth)
