We are utilizing Facebook as a professional networking tool for the students, parents, alumni, and fans of the program. West Plains R-VII School District Social Media Posting Guidelines:

We welcome your comments as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements or chiming in on the conversation. To keep our page focused, we have set some comment guidelines.

1. This page is mode

rated and all comments are reviewed by the West Plains School District Communications Director.
2. To ensure exchanges that are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, we will not allow comments that are or include:
-Off Topic. We will delete comments not related to the subject of the page entries.
-Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted.
-Personal Attacks. If you disagree with a post, we'd like to hear from you. We do ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.
-Illegal. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc., will be followed.
-Language. Comments including but not limited to: profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted.
-Links to outside websites. We will not allow fans to include links to website for any purpose.

If your students is traveling one the Washington DC trip, this is a reminder that there is a payment due this Friday!!!

We are one week away from our first camps of the season!!! Please make sure that if your student is attending camps this summer that they have current athletic physicals and are up to date in the schools Final Forms System. They will not be allowed to participate until these requirements are met. Also, please share this with your other band parent friends that maybe don’t see our page and invite them to follow us for updates!

Our kids have been hard at work today with hours of rehearsal getting ready for tonight. Concert is at 6 PM and free to the public. The Honor Band will perform first, and then the University community band will play after.

Our High School Honor Band of the Ozarks is rehearsing today atthe West Plains Civic Center. Tonight they will perform a joint concert with the Missouri State West Plains Community Band at 6pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
