Sports Physicals!
Notes will be going out next week, but you can use this google form to grant your child permission to participate in sports physicals at the school on April 23, 2026. This will be for next school year, 2026-2027. 8th graders can participate and have their physicals on file at the Zizzer Clinic for summer/next year.

The Zizzer Clinic has expanded services again! Get in and out quickly!

Big news for our school communities! 🩺🍎 Ozarks Healthcare and the West Plains R-7 School District are expanding services at the Ozarks Healthcare Zizzer Clinic to care for even more families.

The clinic now serves:
✔️ Non-school-aged children of West Plains faculty and staff
✔️ Faculty and staff from Fairview, Glenwood, Howell Valley, Junction Hill, and Richards
✔️ Spouses and dependents of Ozarks Healthcare employees

Designed to provide convenient, on-campus care during the school day, the Zizzer Clinic offers short wait times and quick access to treatment, often allowing students to return to class the same day.

We’re also excited to welcome Emily Redfearn, FNP, now providing care at the clinic!

The Ozarks Healthcare Zizzer Clinic is located at 1013 College St. in West Plains and is open from 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 417-505-7123 or learn more at www.ozarkshealthcare.com.

Dental screening consent forms are going home this week. If your child doesn't bring one home, here is the link to the form that you can print, fill out and return to school. Every child must return a form with a yes or no. Thank you!

Don't forget to get your children their 8th grade and Kindergarten vaccines!

After talking to the high school, we are going to do physicals for 8th graders as well, because they do every year and not every 2 years.

The Zizzer Clinic will be coming to school on April 22nd to do free sports physicals for our students for next school year. Notes were sent home last week with all Kindergarten-7th grade students. (I made a copy of the 8th grade students' sports physicals this year for any 8th graders who need it for high school, summer camps, etc. Let me know if you would like me to send it home with your 8th grader, it is good for 1 more school year.) If your student did not make it home with a note, I am providing the link to a google form that you can fill out to let me know if your student needs a sports physical or not. When I get a note/form response back saying a sports physical is authorized, I will send the physical packet home with your student for you to fill out.

I understand this is a pre-season sports physical screening exam. It is not a comprehensive exam and it is not intended to provide treatment nor to create a physician/patient relationship.
