Custom-ordered by a jazz guitarist (who, ironically, couldn't afford the then-pricier Les Paul Custom) to match his tuxedo, the guitar was sold to the Metallica axeman by Carter Vintage Guitars.

I came up with this arrangement of “Auld Lang Syne” (Key of C major) over the holidays on the ukulele for a couple of my students. However, in recognition of my last day of completing another trip around that big old ball of fire, I thought I’d share this with you all and let you know I’m offering 20% off lessons to start off the new year for the month of January. Lessons (offered on guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, bass & piano) are an hour in length and happen once a week for a total of four times a month. I have two after-school (4pm or later) spots open on Wednesday and one on Thursday evening. I also have two daytime spots with flexible start times (between 9am-3pm) for those looking for something to do while the kiddos are in school. I’m offering this special only to new students or former students who’ve taken more than a year off from lessons. Lessons start back up next week. Hope your new year is off to a good start!
