The Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. College of Business continues to build on a legacy that began with PBA's very first donor—Marshall E. Rinker Sr., who believed in PBA before it even began. In 2023, the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. College of Business earned the prestigious AACSB accreditation, placing it among the top six percent of business schools globally and making it one of only 10 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities institutions to earn the distinction. The 2026 opening of the state-of-the-art Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall was made possible through the Rinker family's continued generosity and serves students and the PBA community through a 300-seat tiered Titus Lecture Hall, a stock trading room with professional terminals, multipurpose classrooms, and more. What began as a semester abroad became a season of transformation for recent PBA graduate Daniella Pacheco. In Costa Rica, she discovered the value of slowing down, embracing silence, and finding God's presence in both the extraordinary and the everyday. Through hands-on environmental learning, meaningful cultural experiences, and time spent reflecting in God's creation, Daniella gained a deeper understanding of herself, her faith, and her calling. Her trip is a reminder that studying abroad is more than an academic opportunity, it's a chance to grow personally, spiritually, and professionally in ways that last long after the semester ends. PBA's choir recently returned from a 12-day European tour through the Czech Republic and Austria, where they competed in and won an international choral competition, while sharing the gospel throughout their travels.
PBA’s choir was the first American group to be invited to the Mundi Cantant Competition. On the first day of competition, the choir achieved the highest score in the competition’s history with a total of 29.3/30 points. In the final competition, PBA competed against six other choirs from three different countries, and broke their own record for the highest score by achieving 29.7/30 points. The choir was then announced as the “absolute winners” of the entire festival.
Students also distributed hundreds of Czech-language Bibles at four of their events.
"We had the privilege of sharing the light of Christ with people in a beautiful part of the world who were eager to hear God's Word. It was a blessing to witness His love at work and to share the joy of salvation everywhere we traveled," said choral director Sonia Santiago.
