Congratulations to our Kindergarten Lions for joining their houses today! Each student spun the house wheel and was welcomed by our 5th Grade House Leaders and 4th Grade students. This has become a rite of passage for our 4th Graders and gives them the chance to take the next step towards being the future leaders of our school. We also celebrated the special occasion by inviting older siblings to be there when their Kindergarten sibling spins the wheel!

Yesterday new Lions in Grades 1-5 spun the house wheel and joined their new house! Our 5th graders welcomed them and they got to enjoy our first House Friday Lunch of the year! Welcome to CTES where we are 4 Houses & 1 Lion Family 🐅 🐉 🐻 🐦‍🔥 🦁

Next Friday, August 21 is the sorting ceremony for our Kindergarten Lions!

Welcome to Cypress Trails, Officer Mike Antinoro! During his career he has served for both PBSO and the School District Police Department. He lives in our community and has family members who also work in the school district. He’s very excited to serve our school and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families!

We're excited to host Panda Boba Tea Palm Beach and they'll have delicious teas and drinks for purchase. Below you'll also find the Dress Code and Supply Lists for the 2026-2027 school year!

Kindergarten Families - Mark your calendars for the staggered start schedule. This provides a smaller class for your child's first day at CTES and gives him/her more personal time with classmates and the teacher as he/she learns rules and routines and begins building relationships 🦁

Monday, August 10th - Student Last Names A-L attend class
Tuesday, August 11th - Student Last Names M-Z attend class
Wednesday, August 12th - All Kindergarten students attend class

Incoming kindergarteners and new students are invited to come into the office to register if you haven't yet! The earlier the better as we'll be finalizing classes in early August. Call the Main Office at 561-904-9000 with any questions before you come in!

Congratulations, Lions!! We earned an A-Rating for the 2025-2026 school year! This is a testimony to the hard work by our students and teachers/staff each day at school and so much support from our families at home! We know that our students can't learn if they don't feel safe, loved, and supported and we'll continue to help all students feel this way so they can grow to their fullest potential.

Hope you're having a great summer and students entering Grades 1-5 keep working hard on the iReady Summer Challenge by July 28th!

This summer we’re showcasing creative activities and learning opportunities from across our campus this past year! 🦁

Here is Mrs. Flechtner’s 2nd Grade class participating in an economics activity. Students created shops featuring handmade items. Each student also received a set amount of money to spend and they could use their profits to shop too. What a creative way to learn the concepts of producing and consuming and thank you to Mrs. Flechtner for providing this opportunity!

Hope that all of our Lion students, families, teachers, and staff are having a great summer so far! Throughout the summer we’ll be showcasing some great activities that happened in classrooms this year!

Let’s start with our Kindergarten Lions visiting “Starbooks” in their classrooms! This was a fun and creative way for students to apply their learning of counting money, reading great books, and enjoying delicious items! 🧋🍪📚
