Three days after our Christmas break, the classrooms are alive again. Students, faculty, and staff are excited to be back.
Today we celebrated Christmas with our lions!
We have a special program full of games, great food and lots of dancing!
Merry Christmas Ethiopian Christmas 💚💛❤️
🎄Merry Christmas 🎄
Today, some of our students had a special moment.
After doing very well on their mid-term exams, they came to the front and answered questions from their teachers in front of the whole school.
This was about celebrating the great work of our top students and encouraging those who are still learning and growing.
When effort is recognized, confidence grows.

It’s the dry season, and water is hard to find out here.
At our school, we don’t have water on site. Every drop has to be brought from the nearest city, more than 50 km away. It’s a daily challenge that affects the children, the teachers, and everything we do.
We pray that one day we’ll have clean water right here at the school. When that happens, it will change daily life—not just for us, but for the whole community around us.

At TKA-Ethiopia, we grow our own food. 🌱
From the garden to our students’ plates, it’s all a simple blessing—God provides, and the children get to enjoy healthy, fresh food every day. 🥗
Psalm 104:14 reminds us: “He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth.”
Every meal is a gift, and we’re so grateful to see God’s provision in action. 🙏

The week is over, and it was a success! We praise God for it — because of Him, hearts and stomachs were both fed, physically and spiritually.

A vehicle isn’t a luxury for us—it’s essential.
Our school sits on a remote mountain, and reliable transport means safer access to supplies, reaching families, and handling daily needs without delay.
This Giving Tuesday, your support helps us meet a real, urgent need for our students and staff.
Thank you for your generosity and for investing in the next generation.
This isn’t just a car—it’s an investment in the lives of kids here in Ethiopia.
This Giving Tuesday, God has opened a door we simply cannot ignore.
In 2025, TKA partnered with Streets of Hope and local education leaders to establish a brand-new Christian school in Duguna Fango, Ethiopia, one of the most underserved regions of the country. This school is already transforming lives—150 pre-K and Kindergarten students are receiving a Christ-centered, world-changing education for the very first time. Next year, room for an additional 75 first-grade students is being planned. With a land grant from the local government and extraordinarily generous TKA alumni parent donors, phase one of the campus has been built and the first year of operating expenses has been fully funded.
One need remains—a single, one-time need that will unlock the school’s growth and help secure its future—TRANSPORTATION.
The TKA-ET campus is located 100 km from the nearest major city, S**o, which means twelve faculty members, food, water, and essential supplies must travel great distances on a daily and weekly basis. Currently, a government official’s personal vehicle and public buses are being used to make the two-hour trek. To reduce weekly operating costs and make more reliable transport possible, our life-changing sister school urgently needs a reliable vehicle designed for rural travel. This vehicle will serve as a lifeline—allowing teachers to reach campus safely, transporting food and clean water for students, and enabling the ministry to expand in years to come.
This Giving Tuesday, we are inviting families, alumni, and friends of TKA to join us in meeting this special need.
Any amount helps us reach this goal, and every dollar raised goes directly to this transportation project.
If God moves your heart, we invite you to join us in blessing our sister school and the precious children it serves. Together, we can equip a generation of young learners in Ethiopia with hope, education, and the love of Christ.

The King’s Academy is touching hearts around the world. What began with a community coming together to pray for the next generation has become a testimony of what God can do.
May He be glorified as we continue to serve Him.
This week has been all about thankfulness! We’re so grateful for the chance to bring hope and education to a community that’s been praying for it for years. Hearing the kids share what they’re thankful for reminds us why we do what we do—God’s grace is opening doors, changing lives, and building a brighter future for them every day.

We love seeing our kids take responsibility! 💛
They remind each other to wash their hands before meals and help keep things running smoothly. It’s all part of learning to care for themselves and for others every day. 🌟
