Friends raising Jewish kiddos in Palm Beach County, come have dinner and let your kiddos run around and play while we catch up 😃! This monthly Tot Shabbat is a SO much fun for kids and adults alike. Setting up spaces in a way that meets the needs of your participants is a critical element to successful programming.
I enjoy experimenting with your environmental design - I shifted the gathering space we use for our singalong shacharit sessions and really liked it! I provided three ‘layers’ of seating so that kids and grownups have options.
Next time, I’ll use a large rug to center the chairs- they are so lightweight that they moved too much.
