Today, our Emerging Leaders Class took on the Building a Bridge Challenge! Students worked together in groups to design and build their own bridges, putting their communication, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills to the test.

The challenge? 📏 Build the BIGGEST bridge!

Each group had to develop a plan, communicate their ideas, work through challenges, and then measure their finished bridge to see which team came out on top! 🏆

This activity was about much more than building a bridge—it was about learning how great leaders collaborate, listen, adjust, and work toward a common goal.

🐯 First Grade ROARS into Learning! 🐯

Our first graders are proving that learning is better together! 📚✨ Through collaborative problem-solving, our young scholars are working together to think critically, share ideas, and find solutions.

At the same time, they’re strengthening their reading fluency and comprehension skills—building confidence, making connections, and showing that great readers don’t just read the words… they understand, discuss, and think about them! 💭📖

From teamwork to thoughtful conversations, our first graders are growing their Strong Minds and Good Hearts every day!

Our 8th grade ELA scholars are taking learning beyond the page with Ms. Stanford’s Socratic Seminars! 🐯🧡

Through a variety of thought-provoking texts, students are engaging in meaningful conversations, asking questions, sharing perspectives, and building on one another’s ideas.

Socratic Seminars give our students the opportunity to strengthen their critical thinking, communication, listening, and comprehension skills while learning that every voice and perspective can add value to the conversation.

We are so proud to see our Tigers reading deeply, thinking critically, and confidently expressing their ideas! 🧡🖤

Thank you, Tiger Families, for joining us at Parent University: School to Home Connections! We appreciate your partnership and engagement as we work together to ensure every scholar has a successful school year.

During our session, families had the opportunity to learn more about upcoming parent involvement events, school safety procedures, meet our school administration team, and receive hands-on technical assistance with PowerSchool, First Day Packets, and MySchoolBucks.
