Reminding you that THIS FRIDAY (March 20th) from 3-8 pm we ( and )will be hosting a Sun & Drum Workshop at Provident Park on the Historic Sistrunk Blvd. We are doing it in honor of Dr James Sistrunk, one of the founding members of Provident Hospital. The first Black Hospital in Broward County. Shout out also to Dr. Von D Mizel, Dr James Lynwood Bass and Community Activist Leola Collins for their part in its establishment as well! While we have sunlight you’ll be able to help finish the pyrography of the an outline of a portrait of Dr. James Sistrunk, followed by a community drum workshop and cypher from yours truly! This event is free and open to the community! Come outside and catch a vibe! Honor some great ancestors and bring some Sonic and Solar healing to the neighborhood!! Cuz if not us…than who?

WowWow! A Soul Charging, Heart Warming, all around Lovely time was had at Provident Park on Sistrunk! The second we pulled up and pulled the drums out, the neighborhood children ran over to investigate and see if they could drum with! You know LTR love the kids so of course we let them enjoy and express theirselves! By the time other adults showed up it was lookin like we’d be outnumbered but it ended up being a nice balance of young and older energy from neighborhood and followers of Livin The Rhythm coming together to create a very groovy and healing vibe. Look for us to return next month (Date TBA). Thank you for welcoming Livin The Rhythm into the area. We do it for the people! BomDiBomBom! In solidarity with Black August celebrations globally, we are hosting a special Cypher August 17th to celebrate the Birth of a special hero of African Peoples Worldwide, The Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey! Join us for a Sunday Day Cypher from 3-7pm @ Tire Works & More in West Palm Beach on Congress between Okeechobee and WestGate. Parking across the street in lot and field! No Cover but donations welcome! This will be the final planned cypher in Palm Beach until First Friday in October at the same location and our new main Palm Beach Cypher Spot! A short meeting concerning future event planning will take place after the cypher for those interested in participating. A sign up sheet will be available for those who can’t stay but want to be involved. It’s going up in one week! Get empowered and come clean in ya best red black and green!💪🏿✊🏿❤️🖤💚

The 15 Year Anniversary was a wonderful time where we raffled off everything from meals to tshirt to jewelry and random instruments, but the big ticket item was an Adult size Classic Senegalese built Djembe. Everybody wanted it but there only could be one winner! We held the raffle at the end of the cypher and ended up getting up outta there soon after under threat of wind and rain. Our winner? None other then our first time Cypher attending fresh fruit juice vendor ! Congratulations to her and all who participated in the raffles! Can’t win if you scared to play! Stay tuned for next year’s Sweet 16 Anniversary Celebration! Promises to be another one for the books!
