Story time. 👀
I'm a vocal coach.
I teach singers how to not run out of voice.
And I still run out of voice. 😅
Three services Sunday. Vocal lessons Monday. Recording whenever the Lord says go.
So I built this workshop for myself first.
And now I'm opening it up.
Drop a 🎤 if you needed this yesterday.
Then DM me the word STRONGER and I'll send you the link. 🎤
Quick quiz 👇
Which framework do you need the MOST?
A) Stop running out of voice mid set
B) Sound as good in performance as you do in rehearsal
C) Actually know what to do between songs besides panic
D) Honestly? Sign me up for all 8 and don't ask questions
Because May 30th, we're fixing all of it.
Watch this. Then DM me the word STRONGER and I'll send you the link. 🎤
Be honest. Which one is you? 👇
A) "Sorry y'all, my voice was rough tonight" 😬
B) You're fine... until you're not fine
C) You start a set like Whitney and end it like... you need prayer
D) I felt personally attacked by all three of these
There's a reason this keeps happening -- and it has nothing to do with your voice.
Watch this. Then, hit the link in my bio to reserve your spot. 🎤
Struggling with your voice feeling off? You're not alone. Here's what your voice is actually telling you—and why it’s not a flaw 🔥
Drop a 🎤 if you’ve felt this way while singing.
Ever notice your sound feels stuck, airy, or heavy? That’s just your voice signaling what it needs—no flaws, just cues.
When your voice feels weak or disconnected, it’s a map, not a problem. It shows you where to focus.
Next time your voice feels heavy or airy, ask yourself: what is it trying to tell me?
Your voice isn’t broken—it's communicating its needs. Listen, adjust, and keep going.
Worth thinking about.
Comment “WORSHIP” and I’ll send you the next steps so you can get a clear read on your team.
If your worship team is ready to grow…
but you’re not exactly sure what’s off or how to fix it—
you’re not alone.
I talk to teams all the time who are dealing with things like:
• inconsistency week to week
• lack of confidence in singers
• vocals not blending the way they should
• rehearsals that don’t translate on Sunday
Most of the time, it’s not a heart issue.
There’s just no clear system to understand what’s happening and actually develop the team.
Remember that time you tried to figure it all out alone... and it didn't work?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Here's the thing: singing in isolation is hard. You doubt yourself more. You second-guess your progress. You feel stuck because you don't have anyone who gets it.
But the moment you have community? Everything changes. You get support. You get perspective. You get people who celebrate your wins and encourage you when things get hard.
If you're not part of the Singer's Circle yet... what are you waiting for? It's free, it's supportive, and it's full of singers who understand the journey you're on.

So let me tell you about the time my soprano took my instructions WAY too literally 😂
We were preparing for a 9/11 memorial performance, working on a beautiful song with an incredible harmony. And I had this top soprano, TK, who was absolutely crushing it.
During rehearsal, I told her, "TK, I need you to sing this part in your head voice."
Fast forward to performance day. We get to her part, and... nothing. Complete silence. I'm looking at her like, "What's happening?!"
Turns out, she was literally singing in her HEAD. Not out loud. Just... in her head 💀
I couldn't even be mad at her because she was being obedient! She took my instruction and ran with it—straight into silence 😅
Moral of the story: be VERY specific with your directions, y'all.
Let's talk about vocal fry—the cheat code you're probably not using.
If you're struggling with tension when you sing high, vocal fry can help.
Here's why it works—frying helps your vocal cords stay together at a low pressure level, which relieves the tension and strain you feel when trying to hit those notes. It's training your voice to coordinate without forcing it.
Try it. Experiment with it. You might be surprised at how much easier those high notes become when your voice learns to stay together without all that pressure.
