Recipes for Success

Our Recipes for Success students and staff have some exciting news to share! We have officially been approved to cater events at FPL's beautiful Manatee Lagoon venue.

Not only will this opportunity allow us to better serve our nonprofit and private clients, but it will also provide additional inclusive employment opportunities for our graduates!

But we need your help to get this show on the road!

WE NEED WHEELS!

We need to acquire and insure a refrigerated van to transport our delicious menu items from our kitchen at Extraordinary Charities to the venue at Manatee Lagoon. Fortunately, we have already identified the van, and it is owned by one of our nonprofit partners who is no longer using it. We estimate that the cost of purchase, insurance, and branding will be around $40,000, an expense we did not budget for this year.

Recipes for Success Summer Culinary Camp is back!

Give your child the chance to learn real kitchen skills, build confidence, and have FUN this summer!

July 13th–17th
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ages 12–17

Campers will learn:
✔️ Basic cooking skills
✔️ Kitchen safety
✔️ Life skills & nutrition
✔️ And enjoy the delicious food they create!

$160 per student (includes 10 hours of instruction + meals to eat or take home!)
