On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years."

The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"

And God saw it was good.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span."

The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?"

And God, again saw it was good.

On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."

The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?"

And God agreed it was good.

On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years."
But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?"
"Okay," said God, "You asked for it."

So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves.

For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family.
For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren.

And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Oh yes we do! That’s why many men are always trying to make us feel “less than” or smaller or when we stand up for ourselves they call us bossy or the other B word. Rather than embrace our strengths and our wisdom, their insecurities tell them to put us down! We will not pretend to be weak to make a weak man feel better about himself!! Do you agree?

Today is International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day hits differently in a country where women are still fighting to keep rights we already earned.

When lawmakers try to make it harder for women to vote — especially women who changed their last name — that’s not ‘election integrity.’ It’s targeted obstruction.

When they restrict our ability to make decisions about our own bodies, that’s not ‘protection.’ It’s control.

And when they tell us to be quiet about it, that’s exactly when we speak louder.

Today isn’t just a celebration of women.
It’s a reminder that strong women don’t just break barriers — we defend them.
We vote. We organize. We show up for each other.

And we’re not done.”

Once again, he has bypassed Congress for authorization. Congress is supposed to be. Check on the President, they are supposed to keep him accountable, he is supposed to go to Congress to get authorization for many of the things he’s done.

But, the Republicans in Congress have abdicated their power to him for who knows why. The GOP caves to him for everything and refuses to hold him accountable. The Democrats, well I’ll put this nicely, they come off as weak and ineffective. Both parties refuse to do the job they signed up for. Why? Tell me why?

Every Republican should be voted out of office. Every Democrat should grow some cojones and do something instead of giving speeches. Chuck Schumer needs to retire and Hakeem Jeffries needs to step down.

Trump is itching to cancel future elections. He’s enthralled that Ukraine’s elections were cancelled because of the war. Think he wouldn’t? Oh yes he would.

My statement on the strikes in Iran:

The sewage spill polluting the Potomac River originated from a sewer line located on federal land, and the infrastructure involved is federally owned — not a Maryland state system, as claimed by the dear leader who says he’ll help clean it up if the states bend a knee and beg him to do so. (Look it up if you don’t believe me).

Maryland Governor Wes Moore explicitly stated that the broken sewage pipe was on federal land and “has nothing to do” with the state, emphasizing that Maryland has actually been helping manage a problem that falls under federal responsibility.

The failed line is part of the Potomac Interceptor, a major sewer line owned and operated by DC Water, which serves D.C. and parts of Maryland and Virginia. This line runs through federal parkland near the Clara Barton Parkway where the collapse occurred.

🧩 So who’s responsible?

• Land ownership: Federal
• Infrastructure ownership/operation: DC Water (a regional utility, not the State of Maryland)

State role: Maryland has been assisting with containment and public health response, but the core failure was not a state-managed asset.

Long story short … The sewage spill happened on federal land, the pipe belongs to DC Water, and Maryland is assisting but is not responsible for the failure.

Multiple outlets reported that Trump publicly stated he would only provide federal help for the Potomac sewage spill if Maryland, D.C., and Virginia “ask politely” or “beg” for it.

He said he was “awaiting the call” for help AND help would come only if local leaders ask “politely.”

He’s such a petty little man.
