The Theatre program resides at Fern Street Theatre, a freestanding building located just blocks north of the main campus in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Atlantic University Department of Theatre is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 receipient of the Lawrence P. Brown - Ben Vargas Musical Theatre Scholarship, Mikayla Beatty. Congratulations Mikayla!
Continuing our celebration, Keira Martenson is our next featured upcoming graduate in our Senior Spotlight series. Keira had the opportunity to participate in our 2022 London Experience as a freshman and became an integral part of the PBA Theatre family from one of our Candle Attendants in "Tartuffe," which required fire training with the West Palm Beach Fire Department, to serving as our Master Electrician for both "Blithe Spirit" and "Pippin;" her dedication to the Department contributed to our success. Keira first appeared on the Fern Street Theatre stage during "OnStage" where her musicianship was featured, and as Phebe in "As It Is in Heaven" during our 2024-25 season. Keira took on the role of sword fighting, Tybalt, in PBA Theatre's "Romeo and Juliet" in partnership with Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival. Congratulations Keira!
Up next in our Senior Spotlight series is Natalia Gerard. Ali's gymnastic talents landed her in stilts as Archangel Michael in "As It Is in Heaven" and also was in full display in our season finale of "Pippin." Ali's beautiful spirit and charm shown bright in "Blithe Spirit" as Mrs. Bradman. Ali served on several crews during her time at PBA, including Props Master for "The Lightning Thief." She is an active member of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society and serves the organization as its social media coordinator. Congratulations Ali!
It's graduation week and time to kick off our 2026 Senior Spotlight Series with Rachel DeAngelus. Rachel first appeared on the Fern Street Theatre stage her freshman year in "A Night of Scenes." After spending part of her junior year studying abroad, she returned to the Fern Street Theatre stage as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." She also was Head Director of Monday Night Live, and a part of A.L.I.C.E. Rachel took her final bow Saturday night as one of the Band of Players in "Pippin." Congratulations Rachel!

A magical ending to our 2025-26 season! The cast, crew, and our creative team created a memorable experience for our audiences. This particular closing is bittersweet. We would like to express our immense gratitude to our audiences for packed houses and their support as we celebrate a successful run!
