Greetings from Thailand!
While traveling, acclimating to a 13 + hour time difference is not for the faint of heart. As someone who has been doing it for decades, I thought I would post some of my top tips to survive and thrive!

Spoiler alert: do not nap and force yourself to adjust to the local time pattern of eating, sleeping, etc.. I believe one of the top tips is to have a strong routine when you first wake up, such as working out, caffeine and some sun as this really helps to reset your internal clock.

After 3-4 days of a strong routine, you should be good to go! Also, correction at 1:37--meant to say "vitamin releases", not melatonin ; )

I couldn't think of a better way to wrap up 2023 than with a trip to the Philippines working with the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime tackling high-tech financial crime in that area of the world. This is an interesting read from Microsoft as they outline some of the steps that they are taking to try and mitigate malicious opportuniities during the upcoming election season.

Another successful trip to Southeast Asia with the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime team tackling high-tech financial crime. It was a true honor working with top notch UNODC professionals Fabrizio Fioroni, Woody Tan, Elaine Viktoria Dayanghirang, Jocelyn Marquez, and Miroslav Prljevic on this incredible adventure.

Slowly starting to hear of the these crackdows trickle in. Great job by the U.S. Department of Justice in attempting to investigate and recover government funds dished out during the pandemic. In this recent wave, their efforts focused on almost $836 million in fraud cases. Keep up the great work.
