Mrs. Ferraro led our 5th graders on a beautiful prayer retreat—time in nature, time in God’s creation, and time in heartfelt prayer. Students took part in activities that helped them focus their prayers for family, for those who are sick or hurting, and in gratitude for God’s goodness. What a gift to pause, breathe, and grow in faith together.

Fourth graders are exploring how to classify rocks by observing their color, texture, size, layers, and patterns. They are learning how scientists identify and group rocks into three main types: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. Through hands-on investigations, students discover how rocks are formed and how their unique characteristics help tell Earth’s story.
