Wally Amos, Founder of โFamous Amosโ Cookies Has Died at 88. ๐๐ฝBorn in Tallahassee, Florida, Amos built his beloved brand from one bakery in Hollywood, California in 1975 and family recipe. He was a great American success story. He is survived by wife Carol, his children Sarah, Michael, Gregory and Shawn. ๐ช

in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University. Organized to promote civic action and unity, the founders started the sorority to raise awareness of the societal ills affecting African American communities.
