As the 2025-26 academic year comes to a close, our faculty and staff are wrapping up another successful year and already preparing for the next one.

To show their appreciation, President Chuck Stembler and Principal Ed Curtin fired up the grill and treated teachers to a barbecue lunch complete with hamburgers and hot dogs served with gratitude.

Thank you to our incredible teachers for the knowledge, guidance, faith, and care you share with our Crusaders each day. Your impact extends far beyond the classroom, and we are grateful for all you do. 💙💛

Today's end-of-year luncheon was filled with delicious food, amazing gifts, and appreciation for the faculty and administrators who make Cardinal Newman such a special place.

A special congrats and thank you to Julie Carr, who was recognized for nearly 27 years of service as Cardinal Newman’s nurse and teacher. Julie was presented with a special gift and honored for the lasting impact she has made on generations of students, faculty, and families.

The final Powell Scholars field trip of the school year took students on an unforgettable journey back in time at the PBS WXEL Studios Virtual Reality Colosseum Experience.

Using cutting-edge VR technology, students explored ancient Rome by walking through the streets and into the iconic Colosseum. What an incredible way to bring history to life and wrap up an outstanding year of learning and discovery for our Powell Scholars!

Puppy Day brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and furry fun to campus! 🐶🐾

Hosted by the National Honor Society in partnership with Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue, students and faculty enjoyed some lighthearted time with adorable rescue puppies after exams — including Mr. Stembler, who may have had just as much fun as the students!
Thank you to Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue for the incredible work they do rescuing and caring for animals, and to everyone who donated to support their mission.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for our nation will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we take time to reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served. 🇺🇸

Our students loved welcoming back recent alumni Brittney Stern, Andres Valdivieso, Hailey Taylor, and Dillon Schneider and hearing about their experiences so far as freshmen at Villanova, University of Florida, and Florida State University.

Thank you for returning to campus to share your insights, advice, and encouragement with the next generation of Crusaders. We are so proud of all you are accomplishing!

The 65th Commencement Ceremony of Cardinal Newman High School took place on May 18 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts as the Class of 2026 officially became alumni. 🎓

The beautiful ceremony included an Invocation led by Most Reverend Manuel de Jesús Rodriguez, the National Anthem performed by the Cardinal Newman Band, and speeches from Salutatorian Max Mullen and Valedictorian Brady Surovek reflecting on their Cardinal Newman experience, friendships, families, and future.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your Crusader family is proud of you and excited to see all that lies ahead. More photos from this special evening are still to come! 📸

The Class of 2026 gathered for a beautiful Baccalaureate Mass on Sunday, May 17, at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Brian King as seniors, surrounded by family, faculty, and friends, reflected on their journey, celebrated their faith, and gave thanks for the memories, friendships, and experiences that shaped their time at Cardinal Newman. 💙💛🎓

As they prepare to begin a new chapter, we pray that God continues to guide and bless each member of the Class of 2026. Congratulations, Crusaders! 🙏
