Sol y Luna Music Studio

This Spring has been a busy season!
All SyL musicians who auditioned made it into their first choice program.

So proud of Nicholas Blandford! Senior of 2024 and SyL student. The college audition process is never easy and I am so excited he is able to continue his musical journey with at the studio! Over the past year with the Sol y Luna studio Nick has been able to attend All State Clinics with at UCF, perform in Community Recitals and masterclasses, attend the Florida flute fair meeting , perform in the community with our flute choir and finally upgrade his flute with and .work.man all while working part time and being a high achieving student! To be in SyL means your not alone in your journey, thank you to everyone who has inspired Nicholas Blandford.

I am so proud of them!

I am so proud of our first SyL independent performance during their 3rd Annual Holiday Artisan Festival! These students went to play for the community and spread some flute cheer along with volunteering for the community! 🤗

Throw back to our trip to UCF! 20 students from Palm Beach County traveled to see the All State Prep Clinic. It was wonderful and very informative. Some of our students even got free one on one lessons from the professors themselves!

Thank you to the Palm Beach Symphony for supporting Lake Worth High School! During the summer many of these instruments supported our students in need at Sol y Luna. Exposing a new generation of students who will continue music in the Lake Worth Beach area. Collaboration and community is key! Now the instruments are back at LWCHS ready for marching season!
