Jessica Elzey recently showcased Learning Beyond Paper for Head Start Agencies at the RIV Leadership Summit!

During the session, participants explored how the intentional Teacher Talk prompts embedded within Learning Beyond Paper lessons align with CLASS® interactions, helping educators strengthen meaningful teacher-child engagement and support positive outcomes for children.

Attendees also worked together in small groups to examine how classroom environments influence CLASS scores and contribute to high-quality learning experiences.

🎉 Big News for North Carolina! 🎉

Learning Beyond Paper and Learning Beyond the Bell 🌟 have officially been approved in North Carolina!

The NC Child Care Commission has determined that the Learning Beyond the Bell afterschool curriculum can be included on the approved list of out-of-school time, school-age curricula.

We are excited to continue supporting schools, afterschool programs, and educators with engaging, high-quality curriculum solutions designed to inspire learning beyond the classroom. 💙💚

We talk a lot about reading and math. But what about teaching a 7-year-old how to handle being left out? Or helping a 5th grader figure out how to disagree with a teammate without shutting down?

Soft skills like empathy, communication, self-regulation, and teamwork are some of the hardest things to teach explicitly. Yet they're also the ones that matter most by the time kids are adults.
