After years on social media I took basically a whole month off! They talk about how consistent is key to growing your platform along with surviving your audience. I’ve been doing that for years. Created, edited and posted countless post/reels. Wrote an book, hosted free classes and created an online course.
I needed time to really think about what I want and where I see myself and family in 5-10 years. I still believe social media and helping educate, inspire and hopefully making moms confident in those starting moments of parenthood is still part of my journey.
After a month off, celebrating my 32nd birthday and vacationing with my family I’m actually excited to be back here.
I was starting to feel like I had to be here not that I wanted to be. Finding that balance is never ending and shifts as all parts of life does.

Who’s going to tell my daughter we aren’t going back to south Florida?
While getting ready to pack up the RV (we are in St. Louis for my youngest sisters graduation) we are watching the weather. The weather shows a segment and starts talking about the beaches. Our daughter starts talking about how she’s ready to be back home. We have been in west palm beach Florida for the last 3 months on my last nursing assignment. We are now heading up for my next assignment in North Dakota, which if you haven’t looked at a map in a while is pretty far way from south Florida 😬.
