GREAT NEWS! 🎉 The 2026 session has come to an end and our Drowning Education proposal SB 428, providing new parents critical water safety information AND expanding Florida’s child swim lesson voucher program to ages 1-7, has passed both the House and Senate!

Thanks to all the advocates who helped make this happen and to our House partners Representative Anna V. Eskamani and Rep. Kim Kendall and Senator Clay Yarborough who worked together to merge this all into one legislative package.

The bill soon heads to the Governor for a signature. 🏊‍♀️💧
